Coracle Update and Announcements
Just to update you on what we have on offer and a new feature.
Dear Reader,
St Moluag’s Coracle was started to primarily help serve the Catholic Church in Scotland. I am aware of a wider audience and would just like to say fàilte! The Coracle publishes articles on faith, philosophy, history and of course our wonderful Saints. This has been organized into two newsletters but under the one title; St Moluag’s Coracle.
What You Get
By subscribing to St Moluag’s Coracle you receive in your inboxes:
You will receive a reflection on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month
A new Weekly round-up that primarily includes the relevant Scottish Saint’s feast days and and links to website only articles.
St Cumin’s returns articles on Scottish Catholic history and our Saints as and when I get them.
The Crombie Burn Reader: Once a month long reads on philosophy or theology on the 4th Friday of the month
You can of course unsubscribe from St Cumin’s Return or The Crombie Burn Reader without completely unsubscribing from the Coracle if you would prefer to just receive the reflections - however I think you would be missing out and hope you don’t.
The Newsletters:
St Cumin’s Return: Articles on Saints, Scottish Catholic history and Scots/Gaelic language.
The Crombie Burn Reader: Topics that are theological and philosophical in nature.
New Feature
Let’s Celebrate Scotland’s Saints…
From the get go of the Coracle it was really important to me to help us remember and recognise the Saints of our land. If you follow us on twitter you will notice we post on most of the Saints on their appointed day. To step this up a little, as part of your Coracle offering you will receive a weekly round-up of those Saints. Some Saints will have little information - others a bit more. Regardless, it is a means for you to seek the intercession of our ancient forebears in the communion of the Saints. This will begin in September.
You will receive a reflection next Friday 19th and at the end of the month one of our long reads. Hope you had a great summer!
Kind Regards
Eric
